Romy

Romy is one of our previous fosters who had been abandoned by his owners. He was left with a dog sitter who reached out to us for assistance since he was unable to keep a dog permanently at his residence. Luckily, we knew a neighbor looking for a new dog. He’d been considering adopting a German Shepherd to be his companion, accompany him on walks, and help guard his property. After arranging an introduction, it became evident that they were a perfect match. We fostered Romy for a month to ensure he completed his training before moving to his new home. It’s been a joy to have him nearby and witness the remarkable bond that’s developed between them. He’s stayed with us several times since, while his owner was out of town, allowing him to continue playing with his buddy, our male German Shepherd.
